Reading is fundamental.

Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

these pictures make me want to do the speedster humps on my silver and red..

I've always wanted to do a flat hard tonneau cover like on the original 93 silver and red Boxster concept car. But these photos are intriguing. The humps make it look like a variation of the 911 .

Looks excellent, and I love the tail pipe finishers. If anyone does know where these are available, please tell!

However, really interesting is the silver finish to the top half of the tail lights. I'm assuming this finish allows the light to pass though. If so, it could save a lot of money for people wanting to buy the clear front headlamp lenses.

I've just purchased a set of clear headlamps for about £600.00 new, but if I'd know where to get this silver finish (and assuming it would let the indicator light pass through it) then I'd simply have coated my amber lenses with this - it would have looked perfect on my arctic silver car.

Something to consider for those who are thinking of updating their lenses, especially on a silver car.....a very cheap amberectomy!!

I'm assuming by the look of those that it doesn't allow light to pass through. I'm thinking bulbs were either relocated or it is only a show car for a parts company so it didn't need the turn signals. Really interesting idea though.

the light doesn't sine through,
I recall the owner stating that he relocated the the light to the bottom portion.

I have found the tailpipes, but they are £200 for the pair! You'll need to cut the original chrome finishers off first.

Link: http://www.type-911.co.uk/exhaustparts.htm Scroll right down to the bottom, and the description is "996 Twin Turbo up to 2002 Stainless Steel Exhaust Tips, twin outlet look, easily replaces the standard ones. 150mm x 100mm with a 8mm rolled edge"

just go to http://www.type-911.co.uk for further details. They are actually designed to fit a 996, but there is no reason why they can't fit a Boxster.

Would like to buy them myself, but having just paid for a new clutch (sore point!) I'll have to leave them for now!
