New smoked tail lights

Hi all. I put in some new tail lights this weekend, to match my front side lights. Now all that's left is the headlights, sigh.

I got these on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160384297277 ). They arrived nicely packed in a timely fashion.

It was easy to pop the old ones out and put these in - 4 screws per side. The new ones have LED brake lights and I put in blue bulbs for signalling.

Overall I am pretty happy with the results. A few more pictures are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/smcdaniel/sets/72157622995857806/

Looks great! I did the same tails but not smoked. I like the look of those. Great upgrade. Enjoy

I've been looking at these lights myself, and I'm wondering about the middle/ centre section of the red part of the lense. It looks like there are no LEDS there, but in the pictures online, there is an opening there in the back.

Is there any light for there?

The centre section is your tail light - for a normal bulb. The inner LED section is the brake light, the outer LED is a fog light (for here in the UK anyway)

Did anyone happen to buy these after I posted? One of my LEDs burned out and I can't find any contact info or documentation of where I got them!

Aha! I found 'em: Autodynamic.com - Auto Parts & Accessories Euro Lights Performance Import Domestic

Will let you know how they handle the repair.

Got them off eBay, I had my MOT (UK annual roadworthy test) the other week and was told they are road legal, as was stated from the eBay seller on his advert, so very happy with them, however I did up the wattage on the bulbs just in case.
