Yes, I have and it's a very nice ride but the Speed Triple is 200 lbs lighter with slightly more power and torque for $6000 less. It kills me to say that because I'm an admin at http://www.v-rodforums.com/  , The largest collection of VRSC (V-Rod, Street-Rod, etc.) owners in the world (almost 7000 members).

I will say that it's the best handling Harley I've ever ridden but the riding position is best suited for someone 6' tall, I'm only 5'9" so I would have to pull the bars back about 1.5" to get long range comfort. The V-Rod, on the other hand, is comfortable for hours on end and the motor is the sweetest V-Twin I've ever ridden.

And you probably already know that Porsche was instrumental in the motor's streetability redesign from the original VR1000 race motor that became the Revolution motor. Porsche also owns 49% of the motor assembly facilities in KC (Harley owns 51%) and it's not disclosed how much of the entire assembly facility is jointly owned by Porsche but I'm told it's significant (can you say North American Assembly capabilities  ) .

Shift - They're beautiful. Here's a little vintage contrast. I knew I still had a picture of it...

I had fun building this up. BSA Gold Star 500cc single. One time, I was living in an apartment bulding along the river in Detroit and would sneak it up the passenger elevator to my fourth floor apartment. I think every apartment should have fine art whether on the floor or wall.

That's a gorgeous bike. I'm looking at the Monster as well... Thinking S2R, but since I'm a new rider I'll probably start on a smaller bike before moving up to a Monster.

These bikes are all sweet rides. Love the Duc, the BSA, the Victory etc. Unique!

:)

I am still doing mods to my Duc. It is one thing that is tough for me when it comes to the boxster; modification are few and they don't really do anything for the car. I guess it is a good thing when it comes so good from the factory but i like personalizing my rides.

That is a very pretty DUC.

I've had several bikes crammed into my garage along with various Porsche cars.
Currently I've got a 1998 Ducati 900CR parked in front of the Boxster, and a restored 1965 Triumph T120C parked alongside. My living room houses a 1973 Norton 850..currently under restoration.

Long time Harley guy.....but love all bikes....

Hey guys,

this is very interesting. I actually work for American Honda, Motorcycle Division. As you would expect, I have 4 in the garage along with my 97 Boxster. I currently have 2 CRF50s, one highly modified, and one for my 4 year old son. I just got a 07' CRF250R, and an 06 ST1300. My neighbors think I am spoiled, but most of the bikes are free.

I have been on this site for at least six months now, and have not posted that may replys yet, but this one was to cool to not join in on. I also see that there are some members down in the Houston TX area. I am currently in the process of relocating from Minneapolis, down to the Woodlands TX. If anyone is from that area, let me know!

By the way, even though Honda pays the bills, I am a huge Ducati fan! Some of you guys have some great looking bikes. I will be working the Honda booth at this weekends International Motorcycle SHow in Minneapolis, if anyone is in the area. Look for me at the Honda desk, my name is Jeff.

I think we all have it in our blood- fast cars, and fast bikes- Anyone fly aircraft too?

I sold that bike recently but I still have my 2004 ZX-10R. I've been into sportbikes for years.
