Hate to say it but when I look at these pics my eyes go straight to the unpainted bumperettes. Black/dark blue car not as obvious of course.

I have to agree there are some things that my eyes go straight to.
One of which is doing something to a car other than what was factory for that year.
As an example I go to allot of car shows and sometimes I see a great restoration.
If it has metallic paint or clear coat and was not that way from the factory its a turn off for me.
I know I am in the minority but there is a word I hear of the forms that fit and it is "purist" :)

I'm sure it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but that, in my opinion, is going to look sick! I saw a satin black Turbo parked outside a restaurant a little while ago and circled the block about three times staring at it. Keep us posted with that.

here is a pic of the satin black 996 turbo

There is no project!! :D We all got duped, and I bet he's using the pics to sell cheap fiberglass body kits! LOL

Yes, I guess so. :) I've got a new project idea.... everyone, please post pictures of your Boxsters, in front of your house, showing a clear view of your house number and street. Thank you for your cooperation. :D

RandallNeighbour 08-31-2009 12:10 PM

mustekal, it looks like someone accidentally put the steering wheel on the passenger side of your fine looking German car. Don't worry, I fixed it for you:

Guys, quit wasting your time. I don't think the OP is ever going to show us his project. :D

RandallNeighbour 02-25-2010 10:33 AM

MarkK, that's one of the best rear-end boxster pictures I have ever seen. And I do not like speed yellow (or didn't before I saw this pic).

Absolutely stunning!

Thanks, I kinda like it as well. Here another photo from the same session. Not rear end, although same (wide angle) lens, same car.

Oh, and another (partial) rear-end (normal lens)

RandallNeighbour 02-25-2010 10:52 AM

The wide angle lens and the color saturation really make the car look amazing.

I do love the lines of the Boxster. It's hands-down one of the most beautifully designed cars Porsche has ever produced.

Boxtaboy 03-04-2010 02:38 AM

There's a rocker switch in the driver's footwell near the fuse box that you can use to raise or lower the spoiler. Just put your car key in the ignition and either turn on the car or turn key to the position right before turning on the car and then operate the switch to raise or lower the spoiler.

Jnguyen 03-05-2010 07:35 AM

ahhah thanks
