*******UPDATE******7/28/08****************************************

Finally, updated pictures (only a little p'shop):

************************************************** ***************

A couple of new shots, I have a decent amount of pics, these are just a couple that I got to at work today that I was proud of, more coming soon.

The wheels are the 997TT wheels from wheel dynamics, got them used.

Looks great!

Now update your signature... and get either clear or solid red tail lights.

Nice wheels. I think a few other board members have those wheels on their Boxsters too.

Yeah I think they make the car look a lot newer. I also like how the paint inside the spokes is very close to the seal gray.

I'm considering spacers in the front though.

My sideskirts are getting installed this weekend, so new photoshoot coming soon...

What sizes did you get? 18's or 19's? Do the Wheel Dynamic ones for the 987's fit our 986's without any problems or spacers?

Nice wheels ... I am a big fan of the 997TT design. IMHO it is the best way to update the look of the 986. Solid choice.

Can't wait to see the pics with the side skirts installed ...

angman:
these are 19's 8.5 and 9.5 (not optimum sizing, but i got a good deal)

9eighty6:
thanks! I feel it instantly took a few years off the car, I know my lights are amber, but I can't justify all that money for something so subtle. New pics probably coming this weekend.

smiledrs:
I sold them on craigslist already. There were about 3 or 4 other sets of the same wheels on atlanta craigslist, they shouldn't be too hard to find.

JoshMD, those look AWESOME! I was in the market for some 19's and coudnt make up my mind on what wheels to get. Your set up is KILLER!
Im running some old turbo twists 18's now that are10" out back on pilot sports,
They fill the fender wall pretty good, but I was itchin to go to 19. My concern is that I didnt want to lower the car because Im starting to do some AX here and there, and i just didnt know how 19's would look without lowering. What size tires are you running in these pics?
BTW, I just moved from atlanta to boise idaho, man do I miss it back home!

Nice wheels. Are you planning to get the S brakes next to fill out the empty space?

Probably not, not worth the money in my opinion. I think my brakes work great.

Sorry, I just saw your post. I actually ordered the car new with 19" turbo wheels, so I'm not sure about the specifics other than that.
