sweet.
should look awesome on your car, just looks weird to see a porsche w non-painted calipers, you kinda just expect them to be seen trough the wheels all nice and shiny

Your wheels look nice and the spoke style is easy to keep clean. Big plus!

Been looking to P/U a set of speedline or Rook 18" used for a while. Gary in S FLA (GoGosFLA) has a set on his 986 and they look great!

anyone have any recommendations on some 0" lip monoblock style (10ish spokes) rims in an 18x10et 42 rear and a similar aggressive offset and width for the fronts?
love the gt3 rs look with the satin black rims but don't necessarily want gt3 knock offs

wow. the boxsters that are lowered with 18s for some reason just seem to have the best stance and the best proportions of sidewall height, wheel gap and the right offset makes a really big difference. i think its somewhere around 45 to 40mm in the rear. maybe 42.
now to find some monoblock 18s

Great idea for a thread. I'll post mine later. In the meantime, when you have a 3 inch lip for example what kind of spacers/adjustments do you have to do? Those spacers are damn expensive.

18" Turbo look wheels: How do I know how wide my wheels are ? How do I know if I have the 7.5" fronts and 9' rears, or the 9" Front / 10" rears? Can I just slide a tapemeasure in there?

Where did you get those and did you have the custom painted or ordered that way?
Thanks
Chris

Tirerack used to sell them, but I think SSR stopped making them for Porsches recently. They still make them for BMW, Audi, and Nissan GTR, others, but not in a 5-130 bolt pattern which is required to fit Porsche. It was offered in traditional silver or the gunmetal color, which are the ones I have.
At the time, they made these for Porsche fitments so that spacers would not be required, but make sure if you pick up a used set, to get the correct offsets for the Boxster. Mine are:
Fronts 18x8 / 5-130 / ET49
Rears 18x9.5 / 5-130 / ET43
