It's probably reasonably accurate. I'm guessing it uses GPS for speed and starts the timer when it senses that the car starts moving.

How do I remove the carpeted trim on either side of the engine access hatch? These are the ones behind your elbow as you are seated. They go up and cover the seat belt spool.
