Headlights Don't work
I just replaced a headlight in my 97 boxster and now no headlights work. What gives? It looked like a straight foreword job. I did check the fuses in A 1,2,910.

My Boxster is my Porsche
I am retired, theoretically. That doesn't mean I am not looking for a job that I was recently trained in at my local community college. When I TSD Rallied with a 911 owner I had my heart set on that...

Painting door handles
The external door handles on my boxster have paint worn off around the edges. What would be the best way to paint these?
Option 1 take them off and have paint shop paint them.
Option 2 leave on...

How do u know rotors need replacing
How do you know that the rotors need replacing. Do you measure runout and/or is there a minimum thickness to the rotor?

Wimpy TIC - TIC on turn signal
I was surprised to find that my newly purchased boxster has a barely audible TIC-TIC on the turn signal. I can't hear it over the road noise let alone the radio. Has anyone come up with a fix for...

dry sump
I thought that a dry sump engine by its very nature was not able to starve the engine because the oil is constantly flowing down to the engine from the oil tank.

maybe in manual
I remember seeing something like that as a topic either in the manual or a web site. I'll check. It had to do with running too low on gas in the tank. Do you do this or empty the tank?

Swap seats in Boxster
Are the two seats in the boxster identical? If they are, how would I remove them and switch sides. The drivers seat is much more worn than the passengers so this would make sense.

Pros/Cons of oil removal
It would be much easier to replace the oil by just pumping it out the dip stick hole. What are the negatives for this?
