might want to also loosen all the lugs and tighten criss-cross at 20lb intervals. I had a similar problem last year, and it seems to have been the difference with mine. ymmv

Update: I replaced the two hose that connect to TB, one from vent line, the other AOS hose. Both showed wear. It idles better when warm, but still throws the MAF code on a Snap-on scanner.

that battery should have a connector on one end for the hose, or the connector is missing. Find one and attach that hose so it vents properly.

I would pull up the trunk liner and check for fluid. Any sign of it could mean a seeping coolant tank. At 10+ years, seems common problem. Good luck.

Ordered a MAF off ebay, I should know better, wrong part and its used. Drove it on the highway first time anyway, pulls real well. Still waiting to have the proper MAF installed, then I will follow...
