Yes I doubted that both sensors failed simultaneously and that it’s a wiring issue. After not being able to identify a wiring issue I got the aftermarket sensor response.

My check engine light with cam sensor codes did not go away after replacing cam sensors. I used aftermarket sensors from Pelican. Mechanic saying I need real Porsche sensors.

Have my CDR-220 out and want to Deoxit the volume and selection knobs - both are noisy and skip around.

There is a clear plastic cover just below knobs. Can I pull that out without breaking it? ...

Ah Grasshopper!

Found Premium radio diagram. Red/Black power wire goes to B2 fuse. Bingo! It was blown.

Radio Wiring

I’m getting voltage at A1 and A7 constant. No voltage to A2 which I believe should be main voltage - bigger red wire with black stipe. Main fuse is good.

Where do I go from here?

I had more time and daylight to check today. There are 2 pins on the radio cable that have 13 V’s. So looks like power getting there. Could HU completely die? With fuse not blown - though...

Yes key on engine running. I stuck ground lead in radio cage. Will check mail fuse again but it was fine as that was first thing I checked.

Radio sleeve in dash is grounded isn’t it?

I ended up going up in model. Less bright power button and 5 volt pre amp. I’m going to use the stock Porsche amp for now. Then look at dash speakers and see if their surrounds are shot.
