Took the exhaust out today, the elbow joints were blowing slightly, so used heat...

The only cracked rotors i have had (twice) have been on solid/blank rotors. One on an Alfa which gained a significant crack from the outside egde to about an inch. the other on a Range Rover.

Why did i get my 986 ? well i was looking for a Porsche convertible. the 911's are nice and i've toyed with one, but the boxster.. engine is where it should be. it handles.....

It sounds from the off that it isnt working properly until the fluid has heated up and the viscosity changed. If the filter is clogged up...

painted my hats silver with VHT paint & masked...

painted my hats silver with VHT paint & masked the rotor faces before hand. I would suggest masking the braking faces to prevent the pads getting gummed up with junk.
