Without a doubt, this isn't new. Peeps been doing this on Caymans for a while. So worry not too much about the heat thing. Don't think those can fit a 987 Boxster though and definitely not a 986. ...

This has got to be one of the top three home mods to date. Edged only by the guys doing there own ixx versions. Can you can make one for the 987 box also? Great job by the way.
