From my experience in general the M534 doensn't break...

To me it doesn't look like that clamp gave up. Looks more like the tube completely cracked. Maybe you need more flex tubes, so the exhaust system is overall more flexible.

Did you check if the VAS of the Hertz speakers corresponds to the relatively little volume (i think it*s about) 5 litres of the door speaker enclosures? Result might be a relatively high resonance...
