Just thinking loud, since the caliper repair kits are not really expensive, perhaps check with the Porsche dealer (by providing your VIN), they could recommend the correct seal kit..?

They don't sell the complete cars, only parts, the egine and gearbox were there but the body panels are in good shape they usually sell the engines for about $400, and gearboxes for $300..?

Mark, if you didn't find any oil inside the rubber boots, then the leak is from the viton o-rings that connect the metal pipes to the rack, these are not expensive and very easy to replace.
