West Coast Boxsters

Is there any Boxster club in the Palm Springs, Calif. area?

Talking

I am not sure about Boxsters only, but I would be amazed if the PCA did not have an active chapter over there. San Diego is of course, a very active chapter.

Boxster Club

Maybe we can start a Boxster Club in the Riverside area?

Well this time of year, there is no prettier coast line than say, Newport Beach or Laguna.

How about we plan a meet somewhere in this area for lunch and good chat?

I'd second that motion and be "in"...Perhaps the planned SD get together could move north of north county a bit. I just did that Laguna Beach to to NB ride on the 4th...it was very nice but a little crowded due to the holiday. It was my first time in LB...the beach was so crowded it looked like an ant farm. Plus a caravan is likely to spontaneously pick up other Porsches along the way, in that neighborhood, not to mention other high profile hardware (saw a slammin Ferrari in front of the Starbucks off the PCH.)

Perhaps we could meet at Ruby's Diner at 30622 South Pacific Coast Highway. It's just south of Laguna and has a good sized parking lot. I always see a lot of vintage cars there on the weekends. The drive up the coast would be easy from there. There's also a restaurant farther south called Salt Creek Grill on PCH and Crown Valley Parkway that's very nice although a bit pricey.

Loved the comment about the beach in Laguna and the ants. It's calmer on non-holiday weekends although a sunny day draws crowds to every beach town.
