Looking to remove the slats from my 2001 side grilles but the grille section is also the inner retaining piece. Can anyone show me detailed photos of the the newer one piece grille retaining bits so that I may try to replicate them. Or if you’ve modified the inner piece to lose the slats on the pre 2003 piece and added grill material, how is removal of the part after being installed on the car? Edit.
