Litronic retrofit versus HID Kit

Would love to shell out for the Litronic retrofit kit from performance products
http://www.************************************************************************************************/productpage.aspx?pid=102878&name=Genuine+Porsche%c2%ae+Litronic+Headlights&vehicle=27852
but €2,000 is a lot of dough.
The HID kit is 1/10th of the price, is the litronic kit worth it?

Also, is this kit suitable for RHD ( European) cars?

Help much appreciated.

There's a post over on Renntech with a DIY for installing HID kits into a standard halogen headlamp assembly.

It was noted that the beam projection was still very much like stock, instead of blowing light sloppily all over the place.

Might be worth saving money to just use an HID kit.

I'll see if I can find the link on Renntech.
