fender removal

Anyone out there ever taken a fender off their boxster? A dude in a uhaul whacked my fender and I'm thinking of just doing the job myself. I've already tracked down a used part, in silver and ready to go.

photos would be a bonus. And it's on the driver side.

I've done fenders and doors on my spec miata numerous times, so I'm not intimidated by taking things apart, but I was wondering if there was anything unique about the porsche fenders.

since no one has replied to your post, my best advise would be to remove the headlight, remove the inner fender wells and locate all the bolts that hold it on during a weekend that you ahve free time, work slow and be patient.

This might help:

FYI: The manual did not have instructions for the Drivers (US) side, so I "Assume" it will be similar with exception to the fuel door lid.

Thanks. That's similar to the photo in the bentley manual. Which I have, but with better instructions.

For some reason the bentley doesn't show the drivers side fender either.

My assumption is that's it's easier than the side with the fuel filler. We'll see.
