3.2S MY 2000 Vbox Can bus Detail

Hi from a rainy UK.

I have a Boxster 3.2S 2000 race car which I have a V-Box HD2 fitted.

I'm trying to gather some CAN data for throttle position, rev counter, brake pressure etc.

I know that the CAN high and low is not available via the OBD port on this model, although it does have a CAN bus running around the car I understand.

My question is, would anyone out there have connected a HD box to one of these early 986's, in essence to collect data while on track, as mentioned above? I know I need a splitter lead for data for the HD. Also, would anyone know the twisted pair CAN bus colors that I could possibly tap into and best location?

Thanks for any help

Garry

i don't think the 2000 boxster had CAN. that started the following year and was not fully integrated until 2003 iirc.
