Question 986 2.5 No burble??

Dumb question, but my car seems to be running too efficiently; I installed:

-Manzo headers
-Circuit Werks test pipes w/ clamp-on heat shielding
-Cargraphic exhaust(super sound version)
-RoW DME
-New upstream O2 sensors
-New MAF

on my 1999 986 2.5, yet I don't get any pops, bangs, or burbles on over run. What gives?

notes:

-I disconnected the battery to help the DME adjust to the new exhaust several hundred miles ago.

-I can smell gasoline-laden un-catalyzed exhaust.

-Cleaned the throttle body (btw do this if you have even a slightly rough idle)

-I'm using 93 pump gas in the north-east US.
