EVO installed - woo-hoo!

I installed an Evo intake on my 2000 S on Sunday, and I'm quite pleased. Like all the other comments, the sound over 3000rpm is beautiful. I've noticed that the throttle response is better as well. Before, I had de-snorked, and I had that little gasp/lag from a dead stop. Now, there is no hesitation at all, just vroom and go. Regarding power, I have noticed that the traction control comes on and stays on a lot more now when shifting hard into third. Hmmmm
The install wasn't bad. 2.5 hrs start to finish. I used the "disasemble the intake" method. The only tricky part was the front intake bolt. I had to pull the carpet and cover from behind the seats and go through there to get to it. No worries. So far, 240+miles and no CEL (over a wide range of driving conditions, hehehe). I will add that I used a K&N filter in the stock airbox for 18,000 miles before the EVO. Too much fun!
Cheers, folks!

I really love the sound with the Evo. When you get more top-down driving this spring, you will love that raspy intake sound behind your head! If you dont have the
exhaust done yet, I recommend the B and B. Good job on the install... it is actually tricker than you think.
