I think you'll be happy with the Cup2. The A052 isn't super heat tolerant so it's not amazing for track work, plus the wear is indeed horrible. I like the RT660 a lot, they're very similar to the (now discontinued) RE-71R except they're worse in the wet. I think they're decent on the track, but a little more AX focused.

Pretty sure most of the lapping day & LeMons folk still stick to the 'ol standby Hankook RS4 for it's balance of grip and wear, plus consistency throughout a session. Indeed slightly less total grip than the AX focused tires.

Continental has a new 200tw lapping day tire (EC Force) if you want to be froggy and be an early adopter.
