Rough Running

I shift into 2nd, and at times it surges - like when you have someone learning to drive clutch, and their foot bounces on the clutch pedal.

Is this something due to the recent cold spell we've been having here in Seattle, is there an issue with my ride, or is this normal stuff?

Thanks in advance

I meant to add - it is surging after I have completely released the clutch pedal.

Thanks -

Hopefully someone will come to your aid with more technical advice; however, I do experience a similar "surging" when the car is cold when I first start it. It typically is only noticeable between the shift from 1st to 2nd. It is by no mean a dramatic surge, maybe more of a hesitation? Once the car warms up it is fine...
