Lost all gears

Coming out of a third gear turn at MSR Houston. Shifted to fourth, heard some clunks and now there are no gears. Pinion? Clutch? Main shaft? Cables and linkage good.

Check the cable where it connects to the trans. The outer sheath could be sliding. I had that happen to me

Finally removed transaxle and found the problem. Splined section of clutch disc failed and was spin inning freely. Replaced clutch with a Sachs sport and all is good.
