As I ponder this, I would lean towards the transmission mounts also and a scrape on your exhaust. My turns on a bad bearing did not reach the g's im sure you were pulling on the track, and it was so slight; sounds like your feedback was a touch more determinant. Its also really easy to check.
Not suggesting that you don't know this, but for everyone out there:
Do yourself the favor of buying the canister piece separately and attaching them to your existing brackets. It'll save you hundreds. you can find the REIN AVT0307P for around 70 bucks each. (the forum blanked out the site where I sourced, but its the same part available on pelican) The 993-375-049-05 will fit too, but much more expensive. NOTE: you will need a VERY large external torx socket to remove from the bracket, it was one size up from the set I have, so I needed help there.
