Bump stops are they standard on our shocks/struts ?

So a few years ago I purchased a lightly used set of H&R adjustable coil over shocks and struts. I don't see any bump stops on them should there be ? Maybe previous owner removed them and installed on the replacement struts/shocks . I am going to order new accordian boots for all four but unsure on what to do about the stops. Maybe remove them from my old setup I am replacing ? Car is an 02 S .

I think they are internal to the coilover, PSS9 and Ohlins Road and Track don't have the external ones like the OEM struts.

There is a YouTuber that modifies shocks and likes the H&R coilovers, when he takes them apart you can see the internal bump stops. Fat cat Motorsports I think

Good to know because I bet it wouldn't be too much fun riding around with them missing!

Yeah in the back of my head it was bothering me not knowing 100 % for sure whether they were or weren't internal so I called . Talked with a great guy that knew his stuff , unfortunately H&R has a policy of NOT giving out spring rates I wanted to know what I have, all he would tell me is they are considered " street performance " and that they are progressive . The front springs are stenciled with 29510VA/29511VA and the rears are 29511HA . Any chance you know what the spring rates are ?

I've heard that bump stops come from the factory. At 47k mi. I had remnants of 2 left. Pulled the remaining pieces off.

Correct for factory struts/shocks but these are aftermarket .

I've got 47K on my 99 and all 4 bump stops are gone from the stock struts....And I just noticed the front right strut is leaking.
