Central Locking System problem

After few minutes of starting the car, some weird noise started coming out from under the driver's seat. It freaked me out that I thought the car was going to blow up so I got out and hid behind another car for a minute lol. The noise wouldn't even stop after I had turned the engine off and locked the doors. After 30 minutes of trying to figure it out, I realized that that was the sound the central locking system makes when you lock/unlock the doors. I pulled fuse 3 in row C and the noise stopped. After 15 minutes I put the fuse back on and everything was back to normal!

Has this happened to anyone before?

Alienz,

Its starting to sound like you may have had problem with water getting into your doors. Especially with your window problems as well. I've read that some people have experienced water getting into the door shorting out the windows and doors.

Swing the door around a bit, and see if you hear a sloshing sound.

If you have to, have someone else swing the door while you hide behind another car

LOL johnny. Water getting in the doors is a more likely scenario because of all the snowthat falls off from the bottom of my boots when I get in the car.
