CV boot - split
Does anybody know where I can find a splitable CV boot for my 986 Boxster S. Or maybe a part number and where I can find it. I don't want to pull the axel out. Thanks, Bill

Hi
I replaced one about a year ago and all went well and seems to still be running good. Be extra careful to keep the process clean when installing.
Enter this number in the eBay search field: 181496402431
Good luck!

Thanks, JoJo. I assume the diameters are correct at both ends for a snug fit.

Yes since you shall cut to size accordingly.

What do you mean - cut to size?

You will need to trim the boot to spec. No one makes a model specific split boot (and for good reason). Do let us know how well it worked out.
