You know the problem is with the airbag because the codes tell you that it is?

Most airbag lights are grounding issues. There is a TSB on this for the buckles and ground straps.

To pass the MOT in the UK the airbag light has to come on then go off. If it stays on then obviously we know that indicates a fault but it won't pass an MOT irrespective of what the actual fault it.
