Problem with litronic and high beam

Seems as a light relay problem, please verify.

When i turn on the switch quickly the litronic lights turn on almost always.

When i turn on the switch slowly , i mean , first at the side lights (they light normally always), and afterwards the switch to the dipped beam there seems a tiny flash in the litronic bulb but then the litronic bulb doesn't light.

In that case also the high beam doesn't light continously,
but the headlight flasher lights normally(i guess the current in the flash mode flows from another way).

Any help appreciated.
Greetings

Katerina from Greece.

Exclamation litronic problem

Hi Katerina,

I currently have the same problem. The dealership told me i need to get a new light switch. What did you do to solve the problem? did you need to change the switch?

Your feedback would be appreciated because i have my doubts about what the dealership are telling me.

Thank you,
Euphoria

Admittedly, the switch sound dubious and I would have assumed it's the ignitor, grounding, or other. However, your syptoms are similar to those solved with the replacement of the switch (see below).

Oh - also it really helps if you can list your car's year and other information when posting a "need help" type question. Just helps eliminate sometimes having to ask the question later. Put it in your "signature".
