Does this look right?

I'm having trouble with the roof falling into the guides on the sides. I noticed that this plastic "strap" looks like it is broken. Is this how this should be or is it broken? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I've been watching YouTubes on roof replacement as I'm getting ready to replace mine. There's one out there dealing with exactly this. The problem is your elastic has gone and you need to replace it. I don't have the link handy but I'm sure you can find it. Replacing the elastic did not look difficult.

So I understand that the elastic has weakened and will need replacing, but does anyone know if the white plastic strap is broken?
