Carbon Fiber Hood weight

Does anyone have the weight difference of.

1. Carbon fiber to stock hood and trunk lid
2. Fiberglass to stock hood and trunk lid

From what I recall, my CF hood was 8 pounds... the steelie was at least 35.
I think my FG trunklid was in the 5 pound range and the steelie was 20ish.

from what I've found stock front hood is around 33lbs
carbon hoods are around 9lbs and fiberglass hoods are around 13lbs that have factory style inner liners

Just make sure you use 997 hood shocks....then 986/996 are too stiff. 997's had alum hood which were/are 18lbs I believe.

My struts were shot and would hold the steel hood up.... But are perfect for the CF hood!
