2002 Porsche Boxster S Instrument Cluster

Hello, bear with me while I ask the question, I read some of the post related to 986 cluster upgrade but I need to confirm before spending the money.

Background:

I have a 2002 Porsche Boxster Base model, and I am looking to upgrade the instrument (MPH) cluster from a 2002 Porsche Boxster S (White Face).

Question:

1. Is it compatible for an easy swap?
2. Is there anything I needed to do to make sure it work properly? Beside the ODO correction.

Thank you!

It should be an easy swap. The top speed on the S cluster may be a bit higher than on the base.

Here's some information about clusters if you are really interested in how they work:
