Dashboard lights remain on after remove key

I removed and replaced the CDR23 radio in my Boxster. After I replaced it, my dashboard lights no longer go out when I remove the key from the ignition. The radio screen goes out, but not the dash.

The Dash lights do not go out even when the interior lights go out after exiting the vehicle. Did I screw something up or is this a setting in the Computer?

This guy knows nothing about the electrical system of a Boxster, so take his advise with a grain of salt.
But this time he is right

LOL, I'm still new to this vehicle, but I am also losing my mind so it's nice to check with the experts from time to time!

They do ... unless the door control unit in door is defective (beeps, red light on lock switch). Then they might extinguish immediately and might not come on as they normally do as soon as door is opened.

My door unit is defective and I think I have a replacement in hand, but replacement is down some on projects list ... my diagnosis and observation in any event.w
