Do a forum thread search as this has been covered a bunch of times.
To stop it temporarily, you can jam something between the airbag and the wheel in four spots on all sides and it will stop the honking while braking, but it will also disable your horn if you need it.
It's the rubber bushings in the horn pad that have worn out due to age. Normal old boxster problem.
Order the horn pad (just the rubber bushings are not available separately, of course!) from Sunset and put it in yourself to save a pile of money from the stealership.
Or, take it apart and see if you can retrofit it with a piece of garden hose as I saw done online somewhere a while back.
Or, use this opportunity to upgrade to a 3 spoke wheel... they don't have this problem!
