Hey guys,
For anyone who likes to use brake parts cleaner, but finds it eats disposable gloves too quickly, just wanted to pass along that I found that Brakleen- / NAPA-branded chlorinated brake parts cleaner lasted me a whole brake job through one set of nitrile gloves!
With standard non-chlorinated brake parts cleaner, which I believe has a high amount of acetone in it (or any other solvent with acetone on it), I found they will always swell and weaken nitrile gloves in a short number of minutes, if not seconds. So I was pretty excited to find a really effective, fast-evaporating metal cleaning solvent that can used with disposable gloves!
