No carpet in mine
I made my own track mats using the floor mats as a template. I started with foam core poster board and added 3 layers of fiberglass to each side. I then painted the tops with truck bedliner for grip & to black them out. With the carpet gone, you'll want to do something to the door panels. I went with CF, but you could also do vinyl wrap.
PM me if you want to have a look to get ideas.
I guess I lost 20-30 lbs with all of the carpet gone. The additional noise wasn't so bad.
