cost of repair?

I just had my serpentine belt and spark plugs changed. $300 labor. Does that seem about right? Thank you guys for your thoughts!

Can't say... I changed my plugs in 1 1/2 hours, all in, and had the serpent belt swapped in a half hour, start to finish.
At that rate, we'd be talking $150/hour.

Did the $300 include the parts? If yes then the repair was probably 2+hours.

$300 labor, 125$ parts (oem plugs, tubes, engine air filter), I supplied serpentine belt.
$25 tax

450$ total.

AHH HA!!! You didn't mention the tubes were changed in the first post. With that also being done then $300.00 is reasonable.

changing the tubes would easily add an hour to a plug change

The tubes only need replacing if the 2 x rubber O rings (located at the top and bottom of the tubes) are leaking. They can sometimes be difficult to remove and some have broken due to the plastic tube being brittle.
