raffnash Registered User Join Date: Aug 2016 Location: Nashville Tennessee Posts: 1	whine after starting my 2000 boxster runs great but in the cold weather it ha a very loud whine when it starts up-sounds like a high pitched buzz saw- that goes away completely in 10-2- seconds. It does not do it in warm weather or if the car has been warmed up and restarted in cold weather. It has been doing it for a few winters-no real change.
