I had an issue like yours with my passenger door. It would not open with the inside to outside door handles. I came across this fix on one of the forums and it worked for me. Get in the car (passenger seat will work) and lock the doors with the door fob, then pull the interior driver's door handle twice. Then unlock the doors with the fob. Then lock the doors with the fob and pull the interior driver's door handle twice. Repeat this several times. It worked for me. Don't ask me why... but it worked. Hope it works for you. Let us know.
