M030 ROW springs on a base model strut?

I wanted to confirm that the M030 Struts are indeed shorter at the top. I thought I could just buy the M030 ROW springs and use them on my 2002 base bilstein struts and after installing it in my car the springs are just a tad too short when the car is in the air. I'm taking maybe 2 mm too short but still i dont want to risk it.

Alex

The springs wont fall out. They might rattle if you are air borne.(which should be never). I wouldn,t worry about it. The shafts are also hardened so you won,t be able to thread them any further.

The ROW suspension does lower the car by a little less than an inch all the way around. Don't remember it in mms but maybe that is what you are seeing.

the row springs are about 10-20 mm shorter and the corresponding shocks are also about 10 mm shorter. As I said above they won,t fall out even at full droop .Don,t worry about it
