2002 Boxster S driver's side looking aft. Does this image have your hole? And if not, where would the hole be relative to this image?

The hole is in the wheel well. Looking straight through the wheel, you can see it just right of the shock. I'll pull the wheel tomorrow to take a picture.

Here's a picture through the wheel. Shock is on the left, hole in the top middle, caliper bottom right.
