Garage
Local parts distributor as in an a generic auto parts store or an establishment dedicated to Porsche cars?

I would not put much weight into a recommendation from someone that does not work everyday on a Porsche

There are Porsche factory recommendations, do a search. Mobile One is on the list

DT40 is available on Amazon and is highly recommended by Jake Raby, not sure if it is on the Porsche list

BTW, there are a whole bunch of threads here as well as other forums on what oil to use
