Which Spark Plugs to use
I'm getting ready to do my 60K service and will be changing the plugs.
In researching, it looks like there are a bunch of options.
What plugs are recommended? I have a 04 S used as DD. I do some spirited driving, but currently no AX or track. I might do an occasional AZ in the future, but it will be for fun, I'm not that concerned about being super-competitive in any case.
Is there any real difference between the Bosch, Beru and NGK plugs. I know there are also autolite and others available that cost less.
Even within each brand there are lots of choices. Standard, Platinum and Iridium. I see them ranging in cost from around $3 to $18 each
On one site, they had 22 choices !
I hope this does not turn into which oil is best

I've used Bosch, Beru, and Denso iridium. The Denso were a bad choice. 25k in and I got a CEL- misfire. The tip had been burned off. I replaced that plug and it fixed the misfire, but I must suspect that the other plugs are in bad shape. I'll replace all of them soon w/ Bosch. Between Bosch and Beru, I've found no difference. At 60k I'll swap them, even though they look fine and I've never had any plug-related problems. At the local Advance auto, they will compete on price and sell the Bosch at $6.99 per plug.

Right now I am using the "Beru 14 FGR-6 KQU Spark Plug" from Pelican, seems to be working OK. I don't remember what was in there from the previous time.

I have used both the Bosch and NGK good luck with both the NGK was less expensive

Probably because of the branding, I went with Bosch. Have used them in other cars in the past and never disappointed. Stock came out were Beru, again, recognition of the brand lead me to Bosch, and they were on sale on Amazon when i needed them... Back in the dirt bike racing days, all I used were NGK, so go tell, seems they all make good plugs...

Pulled out the original Beru plugs from my 04S and replaced them with the same. Working very well.

Any input on this question from the OP? What type of Bosch did you all use?

I was hoping to get some plug specifics. I'm sure others want to know as well
Brand is one thing, but which specific plug?
I do understand that Iridium last longer, but is there a trade off?
