Convertible Top is Not Working, Weird Problem.

Hey everyone!! I just purchased a 1999 Boxster 2.5 and it had a issue with the top. I replaced the red plastic clips that usually snap in half after a while of using them. But my problem seems kind of strange. The motor for the top works if I hook it up manually. both sides the transmissions are good too. What is between the switch and the top motor. Is it just the relay?? if I have the long relay in there, the windows will still go down after I release the top.

Also the central locks switch, window heater or the top switch dont light up on the right side of the radio(the traction control switch on the let lights up tough). Are they all connected somehow? Or do they have a rely that controls all the switches there?
