Keys locked in 99 boxster!! Help!!

Hi was doing some work on the boxster today and left keys in the ignition. Door swung closed and after a matter of seconds the car locked itself! Didn't know if there's a way of getting in without a spare key or calling the aa? Any help would be appreciated!!

Use something to wedge the window out just a bit and fish them out with a coat hangar...or grab the inside door handle with a hangar and pull.

Use a long, narrow diameter dowel to push the remote button?

+1 - Getting someone with experience may save broken parts.

Being a smart PITA do you not have a second key? If not then it is worth getting one made. Just saying!

wow, this scenario sucks. I locked mine in the frunk once in my 986, luckily it's pretty easy to break into.

The 987 makes a lot of noise if you don't remove the key from the ignition.

I locked my keys in the car once. Had to wait nearly an hour for a locksmith to come and let me out.
