I installed them...
...with black stitching on my 2004 550 SE and they look great and feel great. No arm fatigue on the stitching.
One of the above posters mentioned that they would look horrible underneath when they are flipped open, and he is right, they do.
The grain and stitching, in black at least, look pretty good to me. I did not add any padding underneath, but the leather is pretty darn thick and "cushy" on its own.
Im happy with them.
