i've read that, but never on a m96. i can't say that i've ever experienced that, but can log timing next year to see.

The Rennline ones are pricey wow! They give you the ability to soften and adjust if needed. It looks like there are various inserts with differing hysteresis characteristics.

Not sure how one would adjust once they are in there without a lot of work
