Speedometer Not Working

Neither speedo works (digital or analog). I have read there could be a connection with the ABS and with the speed sensors at each wheel. I found some specs on check for resistance through the speed sensors and they seemed fine. It may be important to note the ABS light on the dash is always on. It may also be connected to another problem I have - the spoiler doesn't go down (one time it went down but it seems frozen in the up/extended position).

Any ideas?

Is there a central ABS controller that could be the culprit?

Thanks!!!

Have the codes read and report back. There is an ABS controller.

If the wheel speed sensors are ok (I think it is the rear left sensor that the speedo uses) then the problem will be with the ABS control unit. A good indy will know where to have the control unit repaired.

The spoiler issue is caused by this also. The spoiler operates based on speed readings, which are not working in your car. You can use the switch by the fuse box to operate the spoiler manually, overriding the speed-controlled automatic operation.
