What's this doing here?

Hi, earlier today I was removing the lower console of my 2000 boxster so I can relocate my radio. When I removed the console, I could see the airbag sensor module and then right next to it is an unplugged 4-plug molex connector. Considering it is in the same location as the airbag sensor, I'm kind of concerned as to what it is and why it's unplugged.

It is for the optional phone. It has a ground, 12V switched, 12V constant, and phone mute.

But thank you both for helping me out. That's actually just the type of plug I need right now.
